How Waivora handles personal data
This is a plain-language summary of how the Waivora service works. It is not a substitute for the privacy notice of the business whose waiver you are signing.
If you are signing a waiver
The business that sent you the link decides what it asks for and is responsible for your information (it is the controller). Waivora, operated by Techvora, processes it on the business's behalf so it can keep a record of the waiver you completed.
We store the answers the business asked for, the declarations you ticked, your signature, the exact version of the waiver you read, and the time you signed.
We do not record your IP address, device fingerprint, location or browsing behaviour as part of your waiver, and receipt emails contain no tracking.
To ask about, correct or remove your information, contact the business directly. Its contact details appear on the waiver page.
If you use Waivora for your business
We keep your account details (name, email and a one-way hash of your password), your organisation's settings, and an audit log of changes made in your account. Session cookies are strictly necessary for signing in; Waivora uses no advertising or analytics cookies.
Your organisation's records are separated from every other organisation's in the database. Techvora operators can see account-level information needed to run the service — organisation name, plan, trial state and usage counts — but not the content of your waivers or your participants' records.
Where data is kept
Waivora's database is hosted on Supabase in the European Union (Ireland) and the application on Vercel. Transactional email, where enabled, is sent through Postmark.
